Heather is an artist's book created for the Bookmarks Festival in 2019. The book is partly a short story and partly a collection of sketches of Harris part of the Lewis & Harris island, specifically the area around the mountain Roineabhal. The story is set beneath the mountain and follows a fictitious family (daughter and father) in their everyday life until an unbelievable event changes the course of their sole existence.

This science-fiction narrative is inspired by the dynamic Lewis & Harris landscape and the polarising relationship local people have towards the island.
